How does it work?
Somewhere in the world, help is needed
Foundations may be good at figuring out how to help people, but sometimes they may lack the tools or resources to carry out professional tasks.
A foundation posts an assignment
Each assignment is moderated and then posted to the platform. It includes requirements, deadlines, and completion bonuses. Registered volunteers are notified of new assignments in their chosen interests/competencies.
You respond
If you’re interested in a task, you can ask the foundation a clarifying question, leave a comment, or “Respond” right away. Later, you will be notified that the foundation has chosen you (or another volunteer, as the case may be) to perform the task.
Working Together
As you work on a task, you can communicate with the foundation, ask for more information, and suggest new ideas. ProCharity moderators are ready to help you when there are disputes.
Task completed
You receive a commendation and bonus points for completing tasks, which are exchanged for real gifts. You can also leave feedback about your work with foundations – it will help other volunteers and make the platform more effective.
